Job description

Medior/Senior Full Stack Developer

Do you want to work in a dynamic environment where your code really makes a difference? Are you a passionate developer who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges? As a Software Engineer on the Interface Innovators team, you will focus on building and improving software and tools for many colleagues at Momo. With the improved tools, we boost the caregiver experience better and reduce bottlenecks for the company’s growth. Examples of projects that we work on: building tools so that our production team can process returned packages from caregivers or moving an admin panel from an EC2 to AWS cloud native functionalities.

Who is Momo?

Momo Medical is a fast-growing and ambitious scale-up in Delft that focuses on one of society's biggest challenges: the future of (elderly) care. In the next 10 years, the demand for care will double, while 30% of the current workforce will retire. With our innovative solutions, we want to both reduce the pressure on caregivers and improve the quality of care. In short, we want to improve the quality of life for nursing home residents and increase the job satisfaction of caregivers.

The most valuable aspects of the role

💻 A modern stack and a laptop of your choice.

💗 Plenty of room to contribute, learn and grow. And above all, make a difference in the healthcare industry.

💡 Opportunity to help automate processes across multiple teams, both backend and frontend.

🗓️ Hybrid work, at least 4 days p/w in Delft with a team that likes to work and have fun together.

🎉  Our software stack consists of:

[Backend] NodeJS, TypeScript, Express, Cucumber, Jest, a little bit of AWS CDK

[Frontend] React, TypeScript, Jest

These are your responsibilities

As part of a multidisciplinary team, often several teams at once, you will work on innovative solutions that have a direct impact on healthcare professionals in the Netherlands and abroad. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, specialize or grow into a team leader role. You can work on the front-end or the back-end, or even better: both!

  • Make an impact: You contribute directly to the improvement of (elderly) care in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Canada and America.

  • Build reliability: You work to automate processes to make your colleagues' jobs easier, faster, and more reliable.

  • Security by design: You play a key role in a rapid development cycle where security is always the first priority.

  • Continuous improvement: Working together to grow Momo, your colleagues and yourself.

  • Lead the team: Provide technical and/or social leadership to the team, providing support and feedback as needed.

Who are you?

You excel at communication and work effortlessly with multiple teams to rapidly improve their processes and software. With a hands-on approach and a proactive mindset, you thrive in a dynamic environment. In addition, you bring valuable experience working with TypeScript, making you a key contributor to our success.

  • Strengths: fast paced, proactive, curious.

  • You have relevant work experience (+4 years).

  • A good level of English is required, and it is a plus if you can speak Dutch.

  • Available for at least 32 hours per week.

This is why you want to work at Momo

Because you want to make a difference in healthcare at home and abroad. Because you are excited about a fast-growing scale-up where no two days are the same. And because you want to work with young, enthusiastic and talented international colleagues who all work hard to make healthcare a little bit better every day, and at the same time really enjoy lunch and (Friday) afternoon drinks together.

  • Make a difference for caregivers with an innovative solution

  • 32-40 hours/week, depending on your preference.

  • Full Stack Developer salary range €4000 - 6000 (based on 40 hours), depending on relevant work experience (+4 years) and qualifications, plus 8% holiday allowance.

  • Growth opportunities in your area of choice.

  • Reimbursement of travel expenses, a pension plan, and 30 vacation days per year - including public holidays (celebrate Christmas, Eid Al-Fitr, or any other holiday of your choice!).
